Honey Roasted Half-Chicken |

Ingredients: 4 half-chickens (roasters) ½ cup honey ½ cup thick Teryaki sauce ¼ cup orange juice 12 tspns. “Shaman Spice” Instructions: Preheat oven to 375°F Pat chicken halves dry. Combine honey, Teriaki sauce, orange juice and “Shaman Spice” in a large bowl until all are well mixed. Place chicken in bowl and marinade for 30-60 minutes. Place coated chicken halves on baking tray, put in oven and bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes, brushing chicken occasionally with the mixture. Always make sure chicken is cooked by testing with a fork, if the meat appears pink cook for another 5 minutes or so until no pink remains. Serve with fresh vegetables and rice. |
